Annual Events

Even we strive to excel in the classroom and through the activities and groups, we celebrate the college experience through many events throughout the year. As a social group we have many activities both within our brotherhood and with the campus at large. From S.E.X. in the Fall to our APE Escape, and Summer Function to Greek Week and Sorority exchanges we come together as brothers to have a good time.

We are a social fraternity, and involved around campus and in variety of groups, but we like to spend our free time socially with various sororities, and getting to know our fellow greek members around campus. Events around campus such as

Summer's End Xtravaganza

Our annual event to welcome back the students of Doane from their great summer and celebrate together the end of summer and beginning of a new year at Doane.

Greek Week

Greek Week is a busy week of pledging activities for pledging members.These pledges recieve a bid by the current actives of Alpha Pi Epsilon, and their choice to accept is a life changing experience. The pledges are taught on our ideals and our history throughout the week in a series of activities with their new brothers and other sororities.

Sorority Functions

Our exchanges with sororities allow brothers to spend time having fun and growing closer to Doane's sororites through BBQs, bowling, and dances.

Homecoming

The week of Homecoming where Greek groups compete to show off the best skits, and events spread out during Homecoming week based on the school's themes. This week also provides us an opportunity to interact with our esteemed alumni to talk about the great memories of Alpha Pi Epsilon and the College.

Informal

Informal in the Fall allows APEs and their dates to let down their hair and dress up in costume to enjoy a night of festivities.

Formal

A celebration of our new and old brothers in the Spring, Formal recognizes the new and old actives in the fraternity, with various awards as well as allowing brothers to share a meal and night out.

APE Escape

Each fall, brothers get together and re-live their Greek Week once again, and as a way for bonding between each of the brothers by getting closer to one another with various events. We set up obsticals to challenge ourselves and rely on our brothers to get through those trials and grow stronger as a group.

Summer Function

Summer Function is an all fraternity event. Allowing actives and alumni to come together before the next school session starts. This weekend allows us to relax while rekindling memories of years gone by.
